Texas Once Again Misses The Bigger Picture

Today some discouraging news hit smokers and marijuna activits when it was said that the two bills ( 507,2165) were no longer going to be able to be voted on so basically killing the bills before they even were able to gain some support. The two bills would of completely legalized weed and Texas would of been the 5th state to join the pot industry. I had high hopes and was actually happy that Texas was becoming more progressive and give some new ideas a chance instead of the old ways but i was wrong so very fucking wrong! I dont think state officials see the economic benifits as well as the medical benifits passing this bill could potentialy create. From what I can tell they just see this as a chance a for "stoners" to get high legally. Heres hoping this will change but as of now doesnt seem like it folks.
