Paramount Announces Pet Sematary Remake

Following the success of the recent It remake Paramount has now announced that they are going to remake Pet Sematary another one of Stephen Kings classics films/books. For those of you unaware of Pet Sematary Check out the trailer below.

Paramount have also announced that the Pet Sematary remake will hit theaters on April 19, 2019 and that the film will be written and directed by Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch. The writing and directing pair are behind the film Starry Eyes. According to Paramount Widmyer and Kolsch's Pet Sematary will be a fairly different take than the original film. Hopefully Widmyer and Kolsch take a page out of It director Andi Muschiettis play book and make this a great horror remake.
