Sam Jackson Won't Be In Cap 3

This confusing and what the fuck news hit the internet over the weekend and it confused Sam Jackson just as much as it did us. When asked how he felt about not being in Captain America: Civil War which appears in theaters April,29th 2016 Sam Jackson said the following "I’m not in Captain America 3. I can’t figure that out, but I’m not,” "I guess I’m still out there, trying to figure out what happened to S.H.I.E.L.D. and who these other people are.” This took me by surprise for two reason one being he was such a huge part of cap 2 why wouldnt he be in cap3? The second reason is what other movies would he be involved in? He has two movie left on his deal I was thinking Marvel is saving him for the Infinity Wars. Although Sam Jackson wants to renew his movie contract saying that he wants to reup and he is fully down for more Marvel movies.
