On June 6th 2015 two prisoners by the names of Matt and Sweat escaped NYC's Clinton Correctional Facility with help from a female guard whom worked in the prisons tailor shop by the name of Joyce "Tillie" Mitchell. Mitchell would smulg various contraband to the two convicts such as hacksaw blades, screwdrives, chisels, and even a punch tool. Matt and Sweat escaped and were not caught until nearly three weeks later making this the longest manhunt in NYC history Matt was gunned down by police on June 25th and Sweat was shot and captured two days later on the 27th. However Joyce Mitchell has finally pled guilty to a NYC court she is now facing the following charges 1st degree promoting prison contraband, 4th degree criminal faciliation, she also faces a 26 month to 7 year prison sentence. Who knows we may get a Netflix series about her or a Orange Is The New Black cameo.
