Either the people over at 20th Century Fox are experts at dead horse beating or they have there eyes so blinded with money they cant tell when a franchise is completely dead. The franchise im talking about is the Fantastic Four. FFs film legacy has basically just been a huge cash grab and a way to keep the rights for the film from going back to marvel the first two FF movie were terrible panned by fans and critics alike this resulted in the FF film series taking a break for some time until finally a very brief trailer popped up online and didnt really cause much attention for itself. To be completely honest at this point I feel like no body is ever going to be exicited about a FF movie unless marvel has the rights to the film and can some how fit it into its current MCU. With all that being said its no surprise that the newest version of the FF failed from the start the movie seemed unsure of its the people backing it didnt seem to really want to back it and there was little to no press for this movie not to mention the movies very own director pretty much adimitted the movie was shit and blammed 20th century fox for the movie being shit. You would think with all this back lash 20th Century would say "hey maybe we should sell the rights and cut our loses" but nope not good old fox they have a better solution. That solution is make another FF film because the other three worked so well for the studio FF 2 will hit theaters (literally) June 9th 2018.
