Pacific Rim 2: Fin Awakens

If you couldn't tell by the obvious title of this article there making a Pacific Rim 2! With none other than John Boyega aka Finn from the latest Star Wars movie. Boyega will play Idris Elbas son from the first movie he will also serve as the lead character. Which begs the question will we see original lead Charlie Hunnan back for PR2? PR2 is written by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus) and being directed by first time director Steven .S DeKnight who is taking original director Guillermo Del Toros place. PR2 will begin shooting in the fourth quarter of this year.
