Toxic Avenger To Be Re-Made

Everyone's favorite tromaville superhero Toxie the Toxic Avenger is getting the Hollywood treatment. For those of you ghouls and gals not in the know Toxic Avenger is a late 80s B horror/Comedy movie created by Lloyd Kaufman. That follows a towel boy named Melvin who gets pushed into a bade of toxic waste and becomes Toxie a superhuman hero who protects Tromaville. The Tromaville remake will be directed by Sausage Party director Conrad Vernon and will produced by Lloyd Kaufman. In my opinion the only way this remake could work is if they make it Rated R and play the gore up and try and keep the same campy feel of the Toxic Avenger franchise.
