Ben Affleck May Not Be Directing "The Batman"

Back in 2013 when it was announced Ben Affleck would be playing Batman in Batman V Superman it was pretty much common knowledge that he would also be directing the solo batman film "The Batman". Well that may not be the case anymore a couple of days ago when asked whether or not he would be directing Affleck said the following " That's the idea. But it's not a set thing and there's no script. If it doesn't come together in away I think is really great, I'm not going to do it".

Some pretty strong words from Affleck who was very vocal early on in wanting to take his time with the film so it could meet the fans and studios standards. However the film is being fast tracked for a 2018 release with or without Ben Affleck in the directors chair. Needless to say things in Gotham city are a bit rocky.
