Don't Worry Gothamites Ben Affleck Will Direct "The Batman"

Last week Affleck got DC fanboys (Myself included) rallied up by saying him directing the solo batman "wasn't a sure thing". Well we can all now rest assured Batman himself appeared on Jimmy Kimmel last night to confirm he is in fact directing Batman's solo flick. He was quoted as saying the following "I'm going to direct the next Batman" "We're working on it".

He went on to say the reason everyone has been so quite about the project is that he has been busy with his current movie Live by night. "It's one of those things that's really frustrating because, like, Live by Night took me a year-and-a-half to write it and get it ready, and I worked really hard. It's just nobody gave a s**t! No one was like, 'Where's Live by Night?' But with Batman I keep on getting, 'Where's The f**king Batman?!' And I'm like, 'Whoa, I'm working, give me a second!'"

So just give Batffleck a god damn second he's working on it! The Batman hits theaters in 2018.
