Original CHiPs Actors Hate The New CHiPs Remake

Late last week Dax Shepard released the first trailer for the remake of the 1970s show chips which met very mixed reactions from fans. Probably the biggest reaction was from the shows original actors Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox who played the shows main characters Ponch & Jon. After viewing the trailer Larry Wilcox the actor who played Jon went to twitter to express his hate for the film by tweeting the following "Way to go Warner Bros - just ruined the Brand of CHIPS and of the Calif Highway Patrol. Great choice!"

Erik Estrada on the other hand played it rather quite and a bit more professional by simply retweeting negative comments as a sign that he was agreeing with fans.
