Goosebumps 2 Gets A Release Date

Thats right ghouls and gals the 2015 Jack Black led Goosebumps film is getting a sequel. Which is not very surprising at all seeing as the movie was well received by critics and fans. Goosebumps was even able to gross 150 million dollars on a 58 million dollar budget. So like I said its not very surprising that Columbia pictures would want to make a sequel to this highly successful movie. They even seem to be following the same formula by hiring both the original director ( Rob Letterman) and writer ( Darren Lemke) for the sequel. It would also be logical to assume judging by the first films ending that Jack Black (R.L Stine) along with Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush would return as Zack and R.L Stines daughter.

Details on the plot are unknown at this point however Goosebumps 2 is set to hit theaters on January 26th, 2018.
