Tomb Raider Reboot Update!

Hollywood is starting to create buzz for the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot! Last night two official images were posted online via various studios social media accounts. You can check out the images below! The images feature Laura Croft herself who is being played by Alicia Vikander who is most known for being featured in the 2015 sci-fi drama Ex-Machina.

On top of the two official images magazine Vanity Fair managed to get some more plot details, that clear the story up a little and debunk the rumors that the movie was going to be about Laura Croft searching for a lost kingdom. Here's what the Vanity Fair article had to say about the film.

“Seven years after the disappearance of her father, 21-year-old Lara has refused to take the reins of his global business empire, instead working as a bike courier in London while taking college classes. Eventually she becomes inspired to investigate her father’s disappearance and travels to his last-known location: a tomb on an island somewhere off the coast of Japan.

“Suddenly, the stakes couldn’t be higher for Lara, who—against the odds and armed with only her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit—must learn to push herself beyond her limits as she journeys into the unknown. If she survives this perilous adventure, it could be the making of her, earning her the name tomb raider"

From what we have seen/ heard all we can say that this is really shaping up to be a really interesting movie. One that at least seems to be following the source material... All we can do is hope ghouls and gals.
