Dirty Dancing Remake

Get ready to have the time of your life again (or be pissed off that there remaking a classic 80s flick) because Dirty Dancing is getting the remake treatment. The Dirty Dancing remake which airs May 24th on ABC will star Abigail Breslin as Baby and new comer Colt Prattes playing Patrick Swayzes iconic role as the dance instructor that falls in love with baby. The cast also includes Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland, Will & Grace‘s Debra Messing, and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

Thanks to EW (Entertainment Weekly) we have a couple images of the cast! The images show the cast reenacting popular scenes such as Johnny and Babys final dance. Check out the images below!

Based on the images the film seems to be doing a decent job of sticking to the source material unlike the 2004 sequel/reboot Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. With that being said ABC has there work cut out for them seeing as this idea hasn't really gone over that well in the past.

Who knows it may be a good nostalgia watch.
