The Lion King Remake Gets A Release Date & Finds Its Timon and Pumbaa

Jon Favreaus live action Lion King remake is moving along quite quickly all in the last hour Favreau has announced the release date for the film via twitter which is July 19th 2019.

We also found out thanks to TheWrap.com who is going to be voicing the iconic characters Timon & Pumbaa . It seems that Seth Rogen has decided to lend his voice to Pumbaa and fellow comedian Billy Eichner will be voicing Timon.
