World War Z 2 May Finally Be Happening!

The sequel to the 2013 Brad Pitt zombie flick seemed all but dead but just like the zombies in the film it has seemingly been brought back to life (For the time being). With the announcement of long time Brad Pitt collaborator David Fincher signing on to direct the long awaited sequel. While World War Z 2 still has no release date we do however know more or less when the film is scheduled to begin production. According to Variety the plan is start filming in early 2018 as soon as new CEO of Paramount Jim Gianopulos officially gives the film the go ahead.

Nothing else is know about the film at this time other than Brad Pitt and a whole lot of zombies will be returning for the sequel. I'm curious as to what direction Fincher is going to go with the sequel seeing as at the of the first film Brad Pitt and company figure out how to shield them from the zombies .By injecting themselves with viruses making them undesirable to the fleshing monsters.

Who knows maybe this time around we will get an end all war against the last remaining waves of zombies. Or at the least a solid action packed zombie movie that leads to a trilogy.
