How Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Connects To The Original Jumanji

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter Jack Black who plays Professor Shelly Oberon in Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle. Revealed that the new Jumanji movie will pay tribute to Robin Williams character in the film Alan Parish.

According to Jack Black him and Dwayne Johnson's character Dr. Bolder Bravestone find clues left behind by Alan Parish that help them along there journey . Jack Black also said the following during his interview with The Hollywood Reporter "He built up a full-blown jungle house, similar to a Swiss Family Robinson situation," said Black. "It's like he’s there helping us without actually being there.”

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle will star Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan and will hit theaters on December 20th ,2017.
