Ron Howard Is Now Directing The Han Solo Movie

Ron Howard will now be sitting in the directors chair after the shocking announcement that Chris Miller & Phil Lord were fired from directing the upcoming Han Solo film. According to THR (Hollywood Reporter) Lord & Miller were fired after they bumped heads with producer Kathleen Kennedy and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan.

The Han Solo film is still scheduled for a May 2018 release so virtually nothing has change except for the firing of Lord and Miller and the hiring of Ron Howard. In our humble opinion Star Wars fans have nothing to worry about Howard is a more than capable director that is certainly up to the task at hand.
