That's right ghouls and gals the futuristic family The Jetsons are headed back to our TV screens but this time they won't be animated! According to TVLine.Com the new live actions series will see The Jetsons family in the year 2118. The series will be produced by Robert Zemeckis who happens to know a thing or two about the future. Zemeckis wrote and directed the iconic Back To The Future movies! Joining Zemeckis on producer duties is Family Guy executive producer Gary Janetti and Cast Away producer Jack Rapke.
The Jetsons also have an animated movie in the works with Sausage Party director Conrad Vernon at the helm. It looks like we will be seeing a lot of the modern futuristic family.
