Stranger Things season 2 will take place roughly a year after the first season. Will has returned from his trip in the upside down and he seems to have brought something back with him. Meanwhile Hopper is struggling with the knowledge that the upside down even exists. All this is happening the midst of a city wide cover up for the events that took place a year ago at Hawkins High.
