Bumblebee Film In The Works

That's right ghouls and gals the everyone's favorite black & yellow transformer is getting his own spin-off movie!
The film simply titled Bumblebee will be a prequel to the main Transformers films and will follow Bumblebees life in the 1980s. Set to star in the Transformers spin-off is up and coming star Hallie Steinfeld who will play a young woman who comes across Bumblebee in the 80s and attempts to help him. Joining Steinfeld is Jorge Lendeborg Jr. who you may remember from his role as the highschool news announcer in Spider-Man:Homecoming.
Kubo and The Two Strings director Travis Knight is set to helm the film with Steven Spielberg and Micheal Bay producing. Bumblebee will hit theaters June 8, 2018 which is fairly soon seeing as we just got the latest Transformers film "The Last Knight".
