Warner Bros. and DC announced earlier today during there hall H panel at SDCC that the solo Flash movie is now titled Flashpoint. The title indicates that Warner Bros. and DC are looking to adapt the iconic Geoff Johns story that kicked off DCs new 52 back in 2011. For those of you not familiar , Flashpoint is a story in which Barry Allen/The Flash travels back in time to prevent the death of his mother. This action causes a huge ripple effect that has consequences in the main timeline as well Barry Allen/ Flash creating an alternate timeline called "Flashpoint".

As of now "Flashpoint" still has no release date or a director. However Ezra Miller the actor playing the flash can be seen donning the red tights this November in Justice League.

The decision to make a Flashpoint movie is interesting seeing as there has been rumors circulating that DC and Warner Bros. want Ben Affleck out of the DCEU. It seems Ben Affleck himself wants out as well. Could this be DCs way of nicely nudging Batfleck out of the Batcave?

This story is still developing so stay tuned to OtherworldlyNews!
