Top 10 Greatest Action Movie Heroes

Since it has been a bit of a slow news week we thought it be interesting to list our picks for the top 10 action movie heroes. The list is purely our opinion so if we left out your favorite action movie star don't send a us angry letters. Just tell us we suck in the comment section and we will do better next time! :)

10. Coming in at number 10 is the day walker himself Wesley Snipes! Snipes was the definition of cool in the 90s with roles like Blade and Nino Brown in New Jack City not to mention he went to to toe with Sly Stallone in Demolition Man! Snipes has acted in 47 feature films to this day.

9. This one was really tough for us because we initially wanted to put this actor on a higher spot in the list! But we had to make a decision and we decided the number 9 spot seemed like a good fit for Jason Statham. He can drive a car like a bat out of hell and he can also survive getting his heart ripped not to mention he has been thrown out of a helicopter on multiple occasions. Statham is a true stand out in the action genre whether he is partnering up with Dominic Toreto and his crew or just chillin solo he was cranks the action up to a 10

8. He's fucking Snake Plissken do we need to say anymore?

7. standing at 5ft 6in this martial arts master is anything but a push over! Jet Li has been wowing action fans since the late 90s with his classic films like Romeo Must Die, Cradle To The Grave and The One. As of late Li has slowed down in his acting but does have a movie scheduled to come out this year titled League Of Gods.

6. If anyone deserves to be on this list its Jean Claude Van Damme just say his name out loud right now! Do it! ....Didn't it sound like the name of an ass kicker? Van Damme not only has the coolest last name in the action game he so iconic that the Mortal Kombat video game series were originally supposed to be about Jean Claude Van Damme kicking everyone's ass in in a supernatural fighting tournament. If that doesn't make him one the greatest movie action heroes I don't know what will..

5. He's John Wick, Johnny Utah, Neo, Police Officer Jack..... Nuff said.

4. It would have been a crime to not have Vin Diesel on this list. Whether you love or hate his movies you know his name you know his face and you have at least seen one of the Fast and The Furious movies. Vin Diesel has to be one of the most bankable action stars on this list every single project he has been involved in the last 5-6 years have all been major box office hits.

3. The peoples champ, Franchise Viagra they don't call Dwayne" The Rock " Johnson that for nothing ghouls and gals! Johnson clearly has the skills to pay the bills whether its giving chumps the peoples elbow in the squared circle or just kicking insane amounts of ass on the big screen The Rock has proven time and time again that he is the modern day Action Movie hero!

2. He's Sylvester Stallone he doesn't need a description if you don't know who he is you've either been living under a rock or have never seen any movie ever.

1. He's fought against Batman, The Predator, Futuristic robots... Hell he was a futuristic robot! Arnold Schwarzenegger is the definition of Movie Action hero. Almost everyone of his films has a quotable line or some over the top explosion that he somehow survives Arnold will always be the number 1 action hero!
