James Gunn Is Rebooting Starsky & Hutch

Guardians Of The Galaxy director James Gunn is developing a reboot for the 70s buddy cop show Starsky & Hutch. Unlike the Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson reboot film James Gunn will bring the show back to its roots on TV. Gunn is currently writing the script for the Starsky & Hutch TV reboot with help from his brother and long time collaborator Brian Gunn. It is currently unknown at this time if Gunn will direct the pilot episode for the show due to his high demand schedule. But according to a article in THR (the Hollywood reporter) Gunn is officially attached to the reboot and will be writing the script for it.

The Starsky & Hutch reboot currently has to set release date but judging by the current popularity of TV reboots. It's probably safe to say we will be seeing this cop duo on the small screen sooner rather than later.
