The upcoming Danny McBride and David Gordon Green Halloween sequel is currently rumored to be released on Halloween night in 2018. If McBride & Green's Halloween film actually hits theaters on Halloween night. It will be the first film in the franchise to actually be released on Halloween. Believe it or not 1989's Halloween 5 is the only film in the series to be released during the month of October. Why?.... Your guess is as good as our's.

The Halloween sequel which is being written by comedic actor Danny McBride (Pineapple Express,Eastbound and Down) and being directed by David Gordon Green. Who is also co-writing the film with McBride is set to be a direct sequel to 1981's Halloween II. Halloween creator John Carpenter has even blessed the project by becoming an executive producer on the film. He also shown a lot of public interest in making the score for the film.

Currently we have very little details on the plot of the currently untitled Halloween sequel.
According to what Danny McBride has said publicly. Micheal Myers won't be a supernatural killer like he his most known for being. Instead he will be more human and I am assuming more susceptible to bodily harm.
Whatever the case may be we are very excited to see what Danny McBride and David Gordon Green do with there Halloween sequel.
