Jared Leto To Star In Hugh Hefner Bio-Pic

30 seconds to mars singer and Suicide Squad actor Jared Leto has signed on to play the iconic Playboy creator Hugh Hefner. The untitled bio-pic will be directed by Rush Hour director Brett Ratner and will chronicle Hefner's life and rise to stardom. Director Brett Ratner had the following to say about Leto's casting as Hugh Hefner.
“Jared is an old friend. When he heard I got the rights to Hef’s story, he told me, ‘I want to play him. I want to understand him.’ And I really believe Jared can do it. He’s one of the great actors of today.”
Needless to say Jared Leto is an interesting choice play the late Hugh Hefner. Judging from his roles in Dallas Buyers Club and Requiem For A Dream. It's very likely Leto could pull off a very convincing performance as Hugh Hefner. Not to mention the casting of Leto is sure to get people excited and talking about Brett Ratner's Hugh Hefner bio-pic.
The untitled film currently has no release date scheduled but judging by Leto's current DC duties as there current Joker it may be awhile to we see Leto don Hugh's famous red robe.
