Animated Addams Family Movie In The Works

MGM has announced that a animated Addams Family movie is in the works and that sausage party director Vernon Conrad is set to helm the animated project.

Other details on the film are very scarce at this time. However it is well known that this project has been in the works for years now. Tim Burton was originally set to direct the animated Addams Family movie but dropped out due to his commitments to the Alice in wonderland film series. Now it seems Sausage Party director Vernon Conrad plans to pick up the pieces of this project and move forward with it. Joining Conrad on script duty are Gail Berman and Alex Schwartz. Pamela Pettler. Who are the team behind two of the most beloved spooky animated films (The corpse bride, Monster House).
