Actor Anthony Rapp Claims Kevin Spacey Sexually Assaulted Him

Actor Anthony Rapp has accused veteran actor Kevin Spacey of sexual assault. In a article published on Buzzfeed.com Rapp claims that Kevin Spacey made sexual advances towards him when he was only 14 years old. Rapp stated that Spacey befriended him back in 1986 after performing along side him on multiple Broadway shows. Rapp told Buzzfeed that Spacey invited him to a party at his home and when all the party guest left that's when Spacey made his sexual advance. Rap said the following

“My memory was that I thought, Oh, everybody's gone. Well, yeah, I should probably go home,” Rapp said. Spacey, he recalled, “sort of stood in the doorway, kind of swaying. My impression when he came in the room was that he was drunk.” Rapp continued “He picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold. But I don't, like, squirm away initially, because I'm like, 'What's going on?' And then he lays down on top of me.”“He was trying to seduce me,” Rapp said. “I don't know if I would have used that language. But I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually.”

Rapp also states that he pushed Spacey off of him and quickly left Spacey's then apartment and never mentioned the incident to anyone until now. The full article can be read here.

In an interesting turn of events Spacey took to his Twitter account to address Anthony Rapp's accusations. Spacey posted a small letter blaming his actions on "Drunken Behavior" and apologized to Rapp but never fully admitted to his alleged sexual advance. Spacey closed his letter by saying the following "I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I now choose to live as a gay man. I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behavior.
