Disney's Live Action Aladdin Cast Revealed!

Following Disney's current trend of turning there beloved animated classics into live action films. The mouse house has decided to give Aladdin the live action treatment. The film simply titled Aladdin is currently set to be released on May 2019. Aladdin is being directed by Guy Ritchie who is also serving as co-writer for the film. The film also boasts an impressive cast with the following actors!

Mena Massoud as Aladdin

Newcomer Mena Massoud will play the charming thief Aladdin who falls in love with princess Jasmine.

Naomi Scott as Jasmine

Power Rangers actress and former Disney star Naomi Scott takes on the role of Princess Jasmine. Scott got her first role on Disney's TV movie Lemonade Mouth.

Will Smith as Genie

Will Smith will take on the iconic role voiced by the late great Robin Williams. Smith definitely has the biggest shoes to fill in this film.

Marwan Kenzari as Jafar

You may know Marwan Kenzari from his role in The Mummy as well as his upcoming role in Murder on The Orient Express.

Nasim Pedrad as Daila

The Saturday Night Live alum will play an all new character named Daila. According Disney Nasim Pedrad's character is Princess Jasmine's handmaiden and friend.

Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders

Newcomer Billy Magnussen will also play a new character named Prince Anders. According to Disney Prince Anders is Princess Jasmine's suitor and potential husband.
