HBO's long awaited Deadwood revival movie plans to start production in fall 2018! Fans of the foul mouthed show have been waiting over a decade for the long rumored Deadwood revival. Deadwood was originally taken off the air back in 2006 due to a high production cost. But now in a world where HBO is shelling out major bucks for shows like Game of thrones. It makes sense that HBO would invest the big bucks in one of there cult shows. Unfortunately fans of Deadwood shouldn't expect a sequel or mini series out of this revival movie. HBO has confirmed that the Deadwood movie is a one-off meaning this the last one they planning on making. However with the way Hollywood is whose to say that won't change if the Deadwood movie brings big ratings.

HBO has yet to confirm the cast for the Deadwood movie but we would assume all the original cast would be coming back. With the exception of the late Powers Boothe who played tavern proprietor Cy Tolliver. However like we always say we will just have to wait and see.
