Quentin Tarantino's 9th Film Isn't About Charles Manson

Quentin Tarantino's new film which has been rumored to be about the Manson Family murders isn't really centered around Charles Manson at all, according to Tarantino himself. Tarantino who is currently shopping around his new film after leaving The Weinstein Company after the sexual misconduct accusations made towards Harvey Weinstein. Stopped by a "award season brunch" where indiewire asked him if his 9th film is in fact about Charles Manson. Taratino said the following “It’s not Charles Manson, it’s 1969.”

Judging from Tarantino's statement we can only assume that he means his 9th film will be about what was going on during 1969. Charles Manson could possibly serve as a behind the scenes type villain very much in the same vain as Hitler in Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards.

Whatever Quentin Taratino's 9th film ends up being about we know two things are certain. One it's going to be controversial (which we love) two it's going to be a hard R.
