Sony Announces Spider-Man Spinoff Movie About Morbius The Living Vampire

Sony pictures has just announced that they plan on adding to there web of Spider-Man spinoff movies. With a film centering around long time Spider-Man Villain Morbius The Living Vampire. THR (The Hollywood Reporter) reported that Power Rangers writers Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama have wrote and submitted the script to Sony during a "secret development process". For those of you unfamiliar with Morbius The Living Vampire. Micheal Morbius was a bio chemist with a rare blood disease and after a failed attempt to cure himself he somehow contracted a new vampire like disease. The vampire like disease gave him all the abilities of a vampire as well as there weaknesses.

The addition of Morbius into the Spider-Man spinoff world is very interesting. Just for the simple fact that he has the potential to crossover with many other Marvel character (Blade,Ghost Rider etc). Although there are currently no details on this project we are fairly certain we will be hearing more about it in the very near future.
