Warner Bros & DC just announced that they have ordered 26, 30 minute episodes of a solo Harley Quinn animated series to be a part of their upcoming streaming service. That will be unveiled sometime during 2018. The animated series would focus on a newly single Harley Quinn who is trying to create her own criminal empire in the underbelly of Gotham city. The show will also heavily feature other Batman characters such as Poison Ivy, Catwoman making it more or less an animated Gotham Siren Show. According to Warner Bros and DC the upcoming animated series will not be for children as it is going for an adult action comedy vibe. DC also announced that they would be actively pursuing Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie to voice Harley Quinn in the animated series. Warner Bros/DC also released this concept art along with their announcement of the animated Harley Quinn show.

The Harley Quinn animated series will be written and executive produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey. Currently the Harley Quinn animated show has no release date but we assume as soon as DC's streaming service goes live we will have that release date.
